Research Interests

Epidemiology of infectious diseases (foot-and-mouth disease, haemorrhagic septicaemia, avian influenza), change management, nutrition, socioeconomics, international agricultural development, South-East Asia.

Research Project

Evaluation of financial and social impacts of large ruminant transboundary diseases in developing countries in the Greater Mekong Subregion
This research involves investigating disease impacts along livestock value chains in mainland South-East Asia and seeks to develop framework methods for socioeconomic evaluation. Primary diseases of focus are foot-and-mouth disease and haemorrhagic septicaemia.
