Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience (BAnVetBioSc) - Assumed Knowledge

NSW Higher School Certificate or equivalent level 2 unit Mathematics and Chemistry are assumed knowledge for this course. Biology would also be an advantage. We expect that you have studied these subject before you begin this course. If you don't have the assumed knowledge, you can still enrol in the course but you might find it difficult to manage the work as the teaching staff assume you have this knowledge. We recommend you undertake a bridging course if you do not have the assumed knowledge.

Bridging courses

Bridging courses are available in February each year for enrolling students that have not completed the assumed level of knowledge. More information about Bridging Courses is available from the Faculty of Science.

You may be eligible for one of the new University of Sydney Bridging Course Scholarships, to find out please visit the Equity Scholarships website.
