Create Tables

Data in an Access table is stored in various fields. Fields are the same as column names in an excel sheet and tables are analogous to different sheets of an excel file. You could think of an excel file as a database though the actual database structure is much more complex and interlinked.

We will first create a table for entering farmer data. Note that there are various methods to create tables in Access, such as by using Table Wizard, Datasheet view or by importing tables, but we will restrict ourselves only to Design view.
