Student Feedback/Evaluation

Students views and suggestions are invaluable to us, as they help us to improve the degree for the benefit of all postgraduate research students.

  • Students are welcome to provide ongoing feedback to postgraduate coordinators.
  • Another form of feedback includes Student Research Experience Questionnaire (SREQ)
This questionnaire is the equivalent of the SCEQ, but for postgraduate research students. It is designed to highlight strengths and weaknesses in the course structure and organisation that influence students’ overall research experiences.
Although the questionnaire is voluntary, we value student feedback as it helps to improve the course so that students and supervisors gain the most beneficial experience from the research process. More information about the SREQ at http://www.itl.usyd.edu.au/sreq/
  • You will also be offered an exit interview if you leave your higher research degree before completing it. Please consider taking up this offer as it will help to prevent other students leaving for the same reason in the future if we can learn about how to avoid similar situations occurring and it may help you to summarise and deal with what has happened.
