Veterinary Science Faculty
Faculty of Veterinary Science is based on 2 main campuses: Sydney (Camperdown) and Camden. The Sydney campus houses, amongst other things, the Faculty Office, the Small Animal Teaching Hospitals and most of the genetics research laboratories. Camden is approximately 70km southwest of Camperdown and accommodates the Large Animal Teaching Hospital and farm animal research groups.
Postgraduate students in the Faculty of Veterinary Science at the Camperdown campus are generally located in the JD Stewart, RMC Gunn or McMaster buildings.
The Faculty Office, located on the ground floor in the JD Stewart building is easily accessed via the Ross Street entrance to the Camperdown campus. The Faculty Office staff, specifically Tess La-Lande, can help you with any postgraduate student administrative matters.
At Camden postgraduate students are generally located in the JL Shute building, the veterinary clinic or the MC Franklin Dairy lab (see map below). The JL Shute building reception, located at the entrance of the building off Werombi road, is the Faculty’s administrative point of contact at Camden. South of the Shute building there is accommodation (Nepean Hall and Lodge) and the library.
