Educational Partner in Residence Program

Veterinary Practitioners Board of NSW

The Sydney School of Veterinary Science and the Veterinary Practitioners Board of NSW are pleased to invite Partners in Veterinary Education from the University of Sydney to apply for the Educational Partner in Residence Program. The successful applicant will participate in the delivery of clinical services and clinical instruction during a 12 week program that will provide opportunities for continuing education in companion animal, equine or production animal veterinary practice. An allowance of $20,000 will be provided and the timing of the program will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants must be registered with the Veterinary Practitioners Board of NSW and have a current licence to use radiation apparatus. Applicants must also be participants in The University of Sydney Sydney School of Veterinary Science Partners in Veterinary Education Program who can demonstrate:

  • Commitment to student education.
  • Commitment to continuing education.
  • Willingness to enter into a contractual agreement with the University to provide clinical services to either the UVTHS or UVTHC.
  • Willingness to participate in other prescribed activities related to the aims of this program.

The closing date for the 2011 program is 22nd August, 2011.
