Carol McClure is currently working as an epidemiologist for the Department of Health and Wellness in the Province of Prince Edward Island, Canada. She also owns her own aquatic animal consulting service, AquaEpi Research. Carol has been working as an aquatic animal epidemiologist for 13 years. Her work has focused on observational studies and diagnostic test evaluation.
In 1999, she was the Assistant Professor in Theriogenology teaching fourth year veterinary students in the Atlantic Veterinary College.
While still undertaking her PhD from 2000 to 2004, she taught the Epidemiology and Aquaculture Health Management undergraduate courses as well as the Population Medicine in Aquaculture course for graduate students in the Atlantic Veterinary College
