Analyses of Australian Pedigree data

A key question arising from the Pedigree Dogs Exposed documentary is the extent of inbreeding in Australian dog breeds.

In collaboration with the ANKC and its affiliated organisations, analyses are currently being conducted on pedigree files from representative Australian breeds, to answer this and related questions. As soon as these analyses are complete, the results will be provided to the ANKC and to breed clubs, and will be posted on this portal.
