Andrew is a 1984 graduate of the University of Queensland. Andrew is a clinician who has been practising Equine Surgery for 22 years and is a registered specialist in Australia, USA and Europe. Andrew is recognised internationally in a wide variety of areas including lameness and treadmill diagnosis of poor performance, wound healing, respiratory tract surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, and orthpaedics. He also has a keen interest in surgery in alpacas and has pioneered a number of surgical procedures in this species. His extensive experience in Private and University practice has underpinned his commitment to clients to provide a practical approach to the diagnosis and treatment of surgical diseases and lameness. Professor Leo Jeffcott

Consultant in Medicine and Imaging
Leo has worked as an equine clinician for over 40 years. His research interests have been broad although mainly confined to horses. He has specialised in orthopeadics (back problems and developmental skeletal conditions), internal medicine and neurological diseases (wobbler).
He is currently working part time at the UVTHC as a consultant.
