Natascha joined the UVTHS in April 2009. She is in charge of the day to day running of the clinic. Natascha arrived in Australia in 2001 and studied Hospitality & Hotel Management, followed by a Bachelor of Business & Administration. Natascha loves all sorts of animals and once when holidaying in Spain, helped a cat deliver two kittens. Natascha's favourite animal is the Silverback (Gorilla) and her dream is to see one in the wild. In Germany Natascha was always surrounded by budgies, guinea pigs, dogs & cats; she has a cheeky beagle called Max at home in Germany, living with her parents; she sees him once a year.


Susan Thomson - Billing Nurse

Suzi joined the UVTHS in January 2010 and helps to keep the hospital’s accounts and database in order. She previously worked at the AWL as an animal attendant and as a veterinary nurse at a suburban small animal practice. Suzi takes a strong interest in all things animal welfare and rights and is pursuing a career in this area. She is also undertaking a Post-Graduate Certificate in Vet Studies here in the faculty. Suzi is also the proud mother of rescue, Alex, an adorable and bouncy Bullmastiff x Boxer.


Katrina Goodyer - Billing Nurse

Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing

Katrina joined the UVTHS accounts/administrative department in August 2010, she also spends time at reception and helping Elizabeth in the pharmacy. Katrina gained her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2001 whilst working at a small animal practice on Sydney’s Northern Beaches before her horses (and family) drew her to northern NSW where she worked in a mixed animal practice for 4 years. In 2006 Katrina moved to the UK to work and travel for six months but ended up staying for 3.5 years! She worked in a variety of different clinics including a referral hospital in Manchester and the Birmingham RSPCA Hospital. Katrina has 2 dogs a Chihuahua called Alfie and a miniature poodle Max who take up most of her spare time she also has a horse called Wilbur who spends his days eating in a lush green paddock in Nana Glen.


Keith Ellis - Senior Technical Officer

Keith’s role of Senior Technical Officer includes teaching and academic support, management of the Faculty audio visual laboratory, production of digital clinical and teaching materials and management of all infrastructure services for the Evelyn Williams Building and the University Incinerator.


Marianna Koureas - Senior Receptionist

Marianna joined the administration team at the University Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Sydney in 2004. She recently completed Certificate II in Animal Studies at Ultimo TAFE. Marianna has a very mischevious pet dog called 'Popcorn'.


Mary Coull - Receptionist

Mary Coull

Mary completed Animal Studies at TAFE and looking to further studies in Vet Nursing next year. Mary is the proud owner of a Beagle called Arthur, who loves to give cuddles and a cheeky little Pomeranian and Chihuahua.


Anja Price - Receptionist

Anja Price

Anja spent the first 10 years of her nursing career in a General Practice in Sydney’s East enjoying the varied roles of general practice, including running puppy preschool, grooming and all areas of nursing.

More recently she spent the last 3 years in the exciting position of referral surgical nurse at a Specialist Referral Hospital in Sydney’s North loving the challenge of the fast paced emergency and surgical nursing duties.

Anja joined the UVTHS reception team in May 2011 and is thoroughly enjoying the change. Outside of work Anja is kept busy with her two cats and two mischievous Chihuahuas.


Lino Nastasi - Head Animal House Attendant

Lino has worked at the University Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Sydney for the past 15 years undertaking the roles of general maintenance and running the kennels for the hospital.


Mitchell Burns - Animal Attendant

Mitchell Burns


Mitchell has been at the University Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Sydney for the past 5 years as an animal attendant.

Mitchell is responsible for general maintenance, animal hygiene and running the kennels for the hospital.


Bindee Davis - Kennelhand/Trainee Nurse

Bindee Davis


Bindee has relocated from Darwin, Northern Territory to Sydney to pursue her love for animals. She joined the UVTHS in June 2011 and is currently in a Traineeship, Certificate 2 in animal studies; she plans to further her studies and become a veterinarian.
Bindee has 2 dogs named Chainsaw (3 yr old female Great Dane cross), Jnr (6 yr old deaf Red Heeler) and 3 cats named Mumma, Fatty and Little Gella who currently live back home in Darwin.
