Our consultation hours are from:
9.30am – 12.00noon and 2.00pm – 5.00pm Monday to Friday
10.00am – 2.00pm on Saturday.

We need you to make an appointment as the hospital is busy with appointments, procedures, teaching and research. You do not have to be referred from another veterinarian to see us. Please give yourself plenty of time to arrive (especially if you have not been here before).
We make every effort to run as closely as possible to scheduled appointment but occasionally animal emergences may take priority. If you have an emergency with your pet please call us first to let us know you are coming and we will prepare for your arrival.
After Hours Emergencies

When the clinic is closed there is always a veterinarian on call. If you have an urgent issue with your pet please call the hospital number 02 4655 0798 and you will be directed through to the vet on call for assistance.
Payment Policy

Our strict policy is full payment by cash, credit card, EFTPOS and cheque at the time the animal is discharged from hospital. A 50% deposit of the estimated treatment cost is required for all admissions into hospital prior to any diagnostic investigations and treatment.
The Avian Reptile and Exotic Pet Hospital receives no subsidy for its veterinary services and must charge standard fees for cases. The costs are comparable to those of private veterinary practice and are kept to the minimum possible level that is consistent with the highest quality care for the animals being treated.
