ohsrm Audit Scoring System
The OHS Audit applies a five (5) point ranking system on each audit sub-element question set. In-house auditors should enter a rating of A-E. Half point scores are also accommodated in the audit database. The corresponding score will be used to calculate a percentage. Each sub-element score is tallied allowing for benchmarking between Units.
| Description | Rating | Score |
|---|---|---|
| Exemplary performance | A | 4 |
| Very good implementation with most aspects addressed | B | 3 |
| Substantial evidence of implementation | C | 2 |
| Minimum effort | D | 1 |
| No score | E | 0 |
The overall score will be expressed as a percentage i.e. score out of 100.
Where a question or sub-element is not relevant, it is marked N/A. This will indicate that a “no score” applies in that field and that it will not contribute to the overall percentage. The 8 standard audit elements are generally applicable to all units.
