Sydney Writers' Festival, Russ the Bus

Russ the Story Bus is not ordinary bus! His belly is full of books and his exterior is covered with illustrations by Shaun Tan. Russ the story Bus fosters a love of literacy and reading by visiting primary schools around NSW bringing some of Australia's best children's writers and illustrations along for the ride with a free book to keep for every student!

Sydney Science Festival at the Australian Museum

The 2018 Science Festival offers to bring practical science to life with a specially designed primary school program packed with hands-on activities and explosive workshops. Sessions are designed to support and link to school curriculums, and cover a wide range of scientific fields including digital science, biology, chemistry, natural environment, and more.

Seymour Centre presents 'Suitcase Stories'

In Suitcase Stories, young refugees from Iraq and Syria will charm and inspire with their humour, honesty and innocence as they perform pivotal moments from their lives. The performance will leave audiences with a greater understanding of the refugee journey and the amazing contribution these young people are already making to the community.
