Connecting deep tech entrepreneurs with the University’s community of experts and world-class research facilities
The Sydney Knowledge Hub is a co-working space and cross-sector community of organisations with high-impact research at the heart of their work.

Research-based organisations of all sizes can apply to make the Sydney Knowledge Hub their home if they are seeking to collaborate more deeply with the University, actively engage in the community, and help shape our programming during our inaugural year. Apply to become founding members.

The hub opens on 1 October 2019 and is located in the heart of the Darlington Campus.

Access to work spaces

The newly refurbished, iconic Merewether Building at the centre of our Darlington Campus provides co-working spaces. As a member, your organisation will have access to:

  • desk spaces with lockers
  • meeting rooms, phone booths, flexi desks, and collaboration areas
  • kitchen, shower, and event spaces
  • University cafes, restaurants, gym and aquatic centre, retail facilities, parks, and more – a short walk away.

Become a founding member

The Sydney Knowledge Hub is currently accepting applications for founding members in the deep tech space, including various stage research-led startups, not for profits, and corporates that are interested in working more closely with the University.

Founding Member rates are $450 per month per person and includes as 24/7 access to a dedicated desk, access to the full work space, and entry into the community. These rates are available until 30 September, 2020.

Pre-seed startups are eligible for a three-month free trial.
