Gain leadership skills and certification

The International Leaders Program has welcomed more than 7,000 academic, government and business leaders from around the world, to our tailor-made, multi-disciplinary professional development and training programs.

Tailored professional development programs

Our professional programs are customised specifically for the education needs of leadership staff in international academic and government organisations. The programs last between a week and several months, depending on what course skills you require.

Please contact us at least three months before you wish the program to begin. We can also arrange an interpreting service, airport transfers, accommodation (hotel, serviced apartment, guest house or homestay) and cultural activities.

Official certification

Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be issued with a personalised Certificate of Study from the International Leaders Program of the University of Sydney.

Next Generation Leaders Program: Sustainable Water Management

Partner: Australia-Korea Foundation, Korea

Ten selected emerging leaders from around Australia visited their Korean counterparts for information exchange and potential collaborations in the area of water management and sustainability.

Sustainable Environment Development in Mining

Partner: Ministry of Land and Resources, China

The program focused on policy development and regulation relating to land management. This included issues regarding biodiversity, resource allocation and pollution, environmental planning and assessment and land rehabilitation. The program focused primarily on the impact of mining on the environment.

National Essential Drug Policy, Administration and Practices

Partner: Ministry of Health, China

The program showcased Australian health policy regarding the funding and approval of pharmaceuticals in hospitals and the community.
