Our alumni have achieved remarkable success in their professional careers and as mentors, volunteers and advisers helping to improve the lives of others.
Many of our alumni have shaped our cities’ skylines and made leading contributions to the intellectual debates around pressing issues of urban planning, design, built form and social equity.

Master of Architecture, 2015
The Alumni Association encourages alumni to maintain contact with the University, the school and each other, and facilitates connections between the University and the wider profession.
The Alumni Association hosts a number of events throughout the year, open to alumni and friends, which include:
Walks – A series of tours led by alumni, academic staff, stakeholders and other design professionals to explain developments such as Green Square, the Goods Line and Central Park.
Talks – Hosted in conjunction with the Art Gallery of NSW. Panel discussions that include members of the profession, alumni and academics discussing a wide range of topics seeking to educate, illuminate and challenge.
Student Conference – Hosted in conjunction with the school for undergraduates to examine current trends in the profession and explore opportunities to work overseas. Students hear directly from alumni about their different career paths to get a broader understanding of where their tertiary education may take them.
Workshops – Opportunities to gain CPD points and update or learn new skills in the DMaF Lab.
Graduate exhibition – The VIP opening co-hosted by the Alumni Association, is a celebration of the academic achievements of the graduating cohort and an opportunity for industry to meet students and staff.
The association consists of a group of dedicated volunteers, currently working in the professions of architecture, interaction design and planning, as well as academics and staff from the University.
