Dr Katherin Cartwright
Katherin completed her PhD in 2021 researching in the area of mathematics teaching and learning in primary school years. Her focus is on teachers' understanding of mathematical fluency, the characterisitcs of fluency students display, and what decisions teachers make based on what they notice regarding fluency. Katherin is a trained primary school teacher and worked for the NSW Department of Education for 20 years. Katherin has a particular interest in researching mathematics for primary teachers that will have a future impact on classroom practice.
