The Fellowships will be based at the University of Sydney in August 2020 to enable Fellows to participate in organised discussions and events on the topic of Resurgent Racism.
We encourage applications from scholars and professionals from a broad range of disciplines including, but not limited to, history, philosophy, sociology, cultural studies, gender studies, political science, political theory, law, psychology, journalism and media studies. Each Fellowship supports up to $10,000 in travel and costs for the fellow while at the University of Sydney. The value awarded will depend on the city of origin and length of tenure. The length of the Fellowship is assumed to be at least one month, but will depend on the applicant’s availability and resources.
At this stage, we invite expressions of interest using the form below. We ask you to briefly outline the relevance of your research to the theme of Resurgent Racism broadly imagined and your potential contribution. Contributions may include, but are not limited to, collaborating with University of Sydney researchers, presenting talks, seminars, guest lectures and hosting master classes for emerging and early career researchers. Based on the expression of interest, you may be invited to submit a full application.
Expressions of Interest close 30 September 2019.
