SCA New Contemporaries

On-campus exhibition and online showcase

At the end of each academic year, we celebrate our graduating cohort and the culmination of their collective research and practice-based outcomes. We invite you to visit us at the Old Teachers' College to enjoy the work of our students.

Over thirty works will be on display from our studio areas including screen arts, photography, painting, print media, sculpture, ceramics, glass, jewellery and objects.

Opening night: Thursday, 28 November, 6 pm – 9 pm
Exhibition dates: 29 November – 7 December 2024
Opening times: Monday to Friday, 11 am – 5 pm | Saturday, 12 pm  – 4 pm
Location: SCA Gallery and adjoining spaces, Old Teachers' College, Manning Road, The University of Sydney, Camperdown.

Online showcase

In parallel with the exhibition, an innovative online showcase of SCA New Contemporaries is available as a marker of our students' achievements.

The works within this online showcase represent the capstone of degrees including the Bachelor of Visual Arts, Bachelor of Visual Arts (Honours) or  Master of Film and Screen Arts.

This platform is created in consultation with the student cohort and mimics the textured experience of wandering through studios located on campus.
