Biographical details

Dr. Suneha Seetahul is a post-doctoral research fellow in the Women and the Future of Work Project. She combines quantitative and qualitative methods to analyse women’s labour market outcomes with an intersectional perspective. She completed her PhD in development economics at the University of Bordeaux in November 2018. In her PhD research, she used the India Human Development Survey and collected qualitative data in Tamil Nadu to study the dimension of gender and socio-religious horizontal inequalities in the Indian labour market. Her research interests also include the relationship between health, nutrition and inequalities in developing countries.
