Brain and Mind Centre Symposium 2024

The 7th Annual Symposium, offers up presentations by renowned international guest speakers.

The Symposium is expected to be a day of keynote speakers talking on things brain and mind, covering topics such as child neurodevelopment, mental health and neurodegeneration.

Symposium poster award recipients

Award recipients will be announced on the day.

Call for posters for BMC members

Submit a poster for a chance to deliver a rapid-fire presentation and win one of four $200 vouchers.

A $200 voucher will be awarded for the best poster in each of the following categories:

Honours student/Masters student/Research Professional Staff
Higher Degree Researcher
Early to Mid-Career Researcher (<10 years post-PhD, academic levels A and B)
Peoples’ Choice (as voted by Symposium audience on the day)

The top-scoring posters in each of the three categories will be invited to present a 5-minute rapid-fire presentation during the Symposium.

Submitting your poster
Please submit your poster as a single PowerPoint slide via email with the subject line: ‘BMC Symposium Poster_Author Name_Category’. Your poster will be reviewed by the Symposium organisers.

Please print and bring your poster to a member of the BMC Administrative Services Unit (ASU) M02C Level 5 by 4th November.
