Ian Narev

Ian Narev (Chair)
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, SEEK

Ian has been CEO of SEEK since 2021. He joined SEEK in 2019 after 11 years at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, where he was CEO from 2011 until 2018. Prior to that he was a partner of McKinsey & Company. Ian is the non-executive Chair of New Zealand Rugby Commercial Limited. He also has non-profit board roles in education and medical research. He was previously Chair of Sydney Theatre Company. Ian has arts and law degrees from the University of Auckland, and Masters of Law degrees from Cambridge University and New York University.

 

Narelle Anderson

Narelle Anderson
Founder and Managing Director, Envirobank Recycling

Narelle Anderson is the Founder and Managing Director of Envirobank, a company transforming recycling with rewards-based services. As an Aboriginal woman, Narelle is dedicated to sustainability and environmental responsibility, emphasising care for Country. She is the Deputy Co-Chair of the NSW Indigenous Chamber of Commerce (NSWICC), advocating for Indigenous business growth and development. Her leadership and commitment to both environmental and community causes have established her as a key figure in the industry, making significant strides in sustainable practices and Indigenous business advocacy.

 

Katrina Barry
Chief Executive Officer B2C Division, Webjet Limited

Katrina Barry is a CEO and Director who specialises in strategy and digital transformation for iconic brands, with deep experience across the tech, travel, hospitality, and financial services industries. Formerly the CEO of me&u, a global tech business revolutionising hospitality, she also led Contiki Holidays and Trafalgar Tours. With 7 years at the Virgin Group, she led strategy at Virgin Money, co-founded the Virgin Active gym chain, and managed investments for Virgin’s Private Equity arm. Starting out as a Lawyer, then a Management Consultant at McKinsey, she currently serves on the Board of ASX100 company Webjet Limited and Australasia’s top Pet Insurer, Petsure.

 

Frank Calabria

Frank Calabria
Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Origin Energy

Frank Calabria is the CEO of Origin, Australia’s largest energy retailer. Origin has a large and diverse power generation portfolio consisting of both traditional and renewable energy sources. The ASX-listed company also has interests in natural gas production and LNG export through its 27.5 per cent ownership of Australia Pacific LNG, and owns 23 per cent of pioneering UK energy and technology company, Octopus Energy. Frank is a leading advocate on behalf of Origin customers for energy policy that encourages investment in cleaner, reliable and affordable energy supply. Frank is also a Director of the Australian Energy Council and Australian Energy Producers.

 

Frank Calabria

Angus Dawson
Senior Partner, Australia and New Zealand, McKinsey & Company 

Angus is a Senior Partner at McKinsey Australia and New Zealand. Over the past 25 years, he has served as a Managing Partner for McKinsey Australia and New Zealand, led the McKinsey Digital and Analytics Practices in Australia and the Strategy and Corporate Finance Practice across Asia. Angus has worked closely with his clients on a broad range of issues, including strategy, M&A, regulation, technology, organisation, culture, and performance challenges and opportunities. He has extensive experience acting as a translator between technology and business issues for his clients, fostering better strategic alignment between management teams and Boards.

 

Nicholas Flood

Managing Director, IBM Australia and New Zealand

Nicholas (Nick) is one of IBM’s twenty market leaders globally, responsible for the company’s engagement with clients and partners throughout Australia and New Zealand. In this capacity, he also serves on two of the Corporation’s global senior executive leadership teams, as a member of the (i) Global Client Team, and; (ii) Acceleration Team.  As Vice President IBM Technology and Managing Director, Nick led the Australian business to be recognised as the APAC top performing country for two consecutive years (2022, 2023). Nick was also recognised with IBM’s Gerstner Award, IBM’s highest honour for client service when he was IBM’s Director, Public Sector.

 

Adam Jacobs

Adam Jacobs is the Co-Founder of THE ICONIC, Australia’s largest online fashion retailer, and the Co-Founder of Hatch, a new venture whose mission is for all people to find meaning in work. Adam is interested in how technology is changing our societies and aims to build global tech companies that positively influence our future. Adam started his career in strategy consulting with BCG and PwC (in Sydney and Copenhagen) before founding THE ICONIC in 2011 on the premise of customer experience and Hatch in 2018 on the premise of great teams.

 

Peter King

Peter King
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Westpac Group

Peter was appointed Westpac Group CEO in April 2020, after serving as acting CEO from December 2019. With 30 years at Westpac, he has held senior finance roles, including Chief Financial Officer, overseeing Finance, Group Audit, Tax, Treasury, and Investor Relations. He was previously Deputy CFO and worked in various senior positions across the Group. Peter started his career at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, holds a Bachelor of Economics from Sydney University, and completed the Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

 

Pip Marlow

Pip Marlow has extensive global leadership experience in technology and innovation. As CEO for ANZ and ASEAN at Salesforce, she led significant growth, fostering a values-driven leadership culture and team diversity while focusing on customer success. During her four-year tenure, Salesforce Australia and Singapore were consistently ranked among the top five best places to work.

Before Salesforce, Pip was the Chief Executive Officer, Customer Marketplace at Suncorp, where she led digital transformation efforts in the bank and insurance sectors. At Microsoft, she spent over 20 years in key roles in Australia and the USA, overseeing Australia's cloud transition, establishing local data centers, and launching the first Microsoft retail store outside the US.

 

Kelly McJannett

Kelly McJannett
Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Food Ladder

Kelly McJannett is founding CEO of award-winning non-profit Food Ladder which addresses food security in remote and Indigenous communities as well as education, health and economic participation with a holistic focus on wellbeing. An experienced leader in multidisciplinary approaches to social change, Kelly has pioneered scalable place-based agritech solutions which address immediate human need, support environmental outcomes and ready vulnerable communities for worsening conditions resulting from climate change. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Communications (UTS) and an MBA (The University of Sydney Business School) where she was awarded Social Justice and Community Leadership Scholarship. Accolades include Sydney University Dean’s Prize and Leadership Excellence Award as well as named Australia’s 100 most Influential Women by Australian Financial Review.

 

Amanda McKenzie

Amanda McKenzie
Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Climate Council

Amanda is a leading Australian environmental advocate and public commentator on the climate crisis. She co-founded the Climate Council with Professor Tim Flannery in 2013 and has served as its CEO for the past decade. Amanda also co-founded the Australian Youth Climate Coalition and has advised renewable energy panels for Queensland and the Northern Territory. She was the founding Chair of the Centre for Australian Progress and a Board Director at Plan International Australia and the Whitlam Institute. Amanda holds degrees in Law (Hons) from Monash and Arts from Melbourne University and has been recognised among Westpac’s 100 Women of Influence and as a finalist for the Telstra Young Business Woman of the Year.

 

Steve Vamos

Steve Vamos is a Speaker, Advisor, and Director with over 40 years of experience in global technology and digital media. He was CEO of Xero from 2018 to 2023, leading a team of over 4,500 employees. Steve has served as a Non-Executive Director for Telstra, Fletcher Building, Medibank Private, and David Jones, and has advised various Australian organisations. He has also held key roles including CEO of Microsoft Australia and New Zealand, CEO of ninemsn, and VP and Managing Director of Apple Computer Asia Pacific. Steve has lived and worked in Australia, New Zealand, the USA, and Asia.
