20 August 2024
Driving positive change across all industries
Our 2024 Global Executive MBA Cohort spans from marketing specialists to doctors and entrepreneurs. Students will graduate with a global mindset, adept at aligning economics with ethics and reconciling opportunity with responsibility.

In today’s ever-competitive economy, professionals are constantly looking to advance their careers. They need a time-effective way to stay relevant and further their education. They are looking at understanding the complexity of the economic and business landscape while predicting how new technologies and trends are going to impact their business.

Our Global Executive MBA program offers just that and provides an opportunity to develop and/or refine leadership skills in an internationally ranked Business School.

The 2024 cohort of 23 students represent 20 companies, with an average age of 42 and an average of 18 years of work experience.

“The 2024 Executive MBA cohort is filled with impressive and experienced professionals, which has become the hallmark of our program,” shares Associate Professor Massimo Garbuio, Program Director.

Each student brings a unique wealth of knowledge, experience, and connections to the program. This enriches not only their cohort, but also the entire University of Sydney community. We are especially excited to see the growth in executives from healthcare and related fields.

Our Global Executive MBA provides students with an 18-month experience, organised in two weeks immersive modules across 4 regions and 5 different countries. With only 10 weeks away from work students get hands-on experience in what it means to identify and analyse complex challenges and devise innovative solutions.

The program offers a wealth of opportunities outside the program in our MBA Dimensions series, annual alumni dinners and lifelong learning opportunities such as Start-Up Day, and week-long Study Tours.

Matthew Beilby, Senior Finance Manager at the Endeavour Group, said “I’m looking forward to this program as it allows me to immerse myself in the global context and bring such a rich learning back to an Australian-based business.”

Each of these professionals are transforming classroom discussions, collaborating to solve current and complex business problems offered by our corporate partners, and excelling as executive-level leaders.
