The Future Leaders MBA Scholarship is awarded to applicants who demonstrate leadership experience and outstanding future potential in their chosen field. Applicants for the Future Leaders MBA scholarship are also automatically considered for the Social Impact Scholarship.
The Anstice MBA Scholarship for Community Leadership is awarded to assist emerging leaders in community organisations in acquiring world class business and management skills. Preference will be given to those who currently are employed within the not-for-profit and social enterprise sectors.
The Alek Safarian MBA scholarship supports emerging leaders in pharmacy, pharmacology, medicine, nursing or science who have an interest in the pharmaceutical industry. Preference will be given to those who have a qualification awarded by the University of Sydney in the listed areas.
The part-time MBA scholarships are only open to applicants who are Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents, or citizens of New Zealand that are eligible to receive an unconditional offer of admission into the part-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) offered by the University of Sydney Business School.
Current students enrolled in the University of Sydney MBA and University of Sydney employees are not eligible to apply.
a. experience working in a multi-disciplinary team,
b. collaboration with for-profit and/or government organisations and an ability to network,
c. their development of an initiative which has been adopted by their organisation and has proven sustainable,
d. leadership, having coordinated a team in a project or business strategy to a successful outcome, and
e. personal achievements which have been recognised in the community.
If applying for multiple scholarships you are only required to submit ONE statement of motivation detailing the relevant selection criteria.
Entrants must register to apply and then complete an application form via our website. The application will include the submission of a statement of motivation.

Shortlisted applicants are required to attend a masterclass and submit a short reflective essay.

Shortlisted applicants are invited to attend an interview with the judging panel.
