CET leadership team
Katherine oversees all aspects of the organisation from strategic planning, managing the financial health of the centre, professional development, performance appraisal, curriculum design and the integration of technology-enhanced pedagogy. She regularly represents CET at University-wide and industry events.
Ward is responsible for ensuring operational excellence at CET, the provision of strategic policy and planning initiatives, managing significant staff and financial resources, and building strong relationships both within the University and externally.
Sharing the role with Alana Bryant, Tony manages the Direct Entry Course program to ensure students have the language and academic skills they need for university.
Mariela manages the Direct Entry Course (DEC), ensuring that students successfully transition to life at university. She is responsible for supporting teachers through professional development activities and maximising teacher and student engagement in the program. She monitors student welfare and academic progress, and oversees intervention programs at the centre.
Ben manages our professional pathways programs that include Global English (GE), Intensive Test Preparation (ITP), Business English (BE) and group programs.
Josh manages CET's Education Services team, enhancing program design, quality, and innovation. He oversees diverse services—from student support to technology integration—ensuring strategies enhance the overall student experience and success.
Janelle oversees CET’s strategy for partnership development and engagement with key local and international stakeholders. She is responsible for ensuring CET’s sustainability through targeted business development initiatives and management of customised and corporate programs.
Sandra manages the Admissions team which looks after student enrolments, from first contact to arrival at CET. She also oversees the day to day operational business systems which ensure students are supported during their student life cycle from enquiry to alumni.
George manages CET’s financial affairs and resources. He is in charge of preparing the CET budget, managing collection of student fees and organising refunds. He works closely with funding agencies and scholarship providers to manage the financial aspect of scholarships.
