No matter which faculty or school you belong to at the University, if your studies relate to China – language, culture, technology, economics and more – we can support you.
We can guide you on how to combine your studies with your passion for China – for example, adding language studies, selecting a major or minor that lets you focus on China, or taking part in a workshop on using language resources. We can also recommend other ways to increase your experience and understanding of China, like taking part in a field school, going on exchange, or joining the China Research Network.
If you need to find and use China resources – at the library, specialised centres, or within our own collection of publications – talk to us first and we'lll be able to direct you to the right place.
We run events and workshops all year round where you'll meet other people with an interest in China – connections who could help you decide on an area of research, or put you in touch with students or academics in China. You might meet those connections later when you are on exchange, in a field school, in an office, or during a collaborative research project.
