Our calendar of events includes monthly seminars, a series of talks on Asian art, workshops for researchers, and celebrations around key Chinese festivals.
We have a diverse range of events and activities each year, from research seminars to industry-wide engagement with the Sydney China Business Forum.
Our monthly seminars showcase the latest research conducted by our members. These seminars are often informal and offer plenty of opportunity to engage with the researcher.
We are currently co-presenting the Sydney Asian Art Series, which began in 2017 and will run for three years. We are fortunate to work with the Power Institute, VisAsia, Art Gallery of New South Wales and Sydney Ideas to bring world-renowned experts to talk about all aspects of Asian art. Stay tuned for an exciting 2018 program of lectures.
The Sydney China Business Forum is our flagship event and a key event for the University and the Sydney business community. In 2017 we brought together industry experts in Australia and China to explore the issue of China’s digital revolution. Our 2018 theme will be announced soon – be first to learn the theme by signing up for our newsletter [link to newsletter sign up]
