Course Levels & Pathways

A Bachelors degree is your first degree at university, also called an undergraduate degree because students have not yet graduated. After doing a Bachelors course and graduating (the student is now known as a graduate), students can start their career or continue at university with a postgraduate course such as a 1 year Honours course to specialise in research in one area of the degree, and/or can do a Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, Masters by coursework, Masters by research or a PhD.

Sydney university has 7 (update this to 10 as appropriate) Areas of interest which courses fall into. Each course is run by one or two* of the 16 faculties (*combined or double degrees)
