Overview

If you are from another accredited Australian tertiary institution, you may apply to undertake units of study as cross-institutional studies.

You need to be able to meet the same criteria/prerequisites as students enrolled at the University of Sydney (or have done equivalent units of study at your home institution) to be able to enrol with the faculty. Cross Institutional unit selection is subject the availability and therefore may not be offered in all sessions advertised in the faculty handbook.

How to apply

Applications are made directly to the University and assessed by the faculty.

The faculty may permit enrolment in a particular unit/s provided that the student has an appropriate academic background. Please note that conditions may apply for international students.

Standard closing dates:

Semester 1 - 31 January of the same year.

Semester 2 - 15 July of the same year.

We strongly encourage applicants to apply as early as possible, offers are made on a rolling basis and places are limited.
