What is project management?

Project managers help organisations deliver new products, services and infrastructure, implement new systems and processes and ultimately effect change. These skills can be applied to many various situations, such as disease and disaster recovery scenarios that require an innovative and dynamic approach.

The Bachelor of Project Management is accredited by the PMI Global Accreditation Centre for Project Management. 

Study project management

Graduates of the Bachelor of Engineering Honours and combined versions with Full Accreditation and Conditional Full Accreditation at the level of Professional Engineer with the national accreditation body, Engineers Australia, are recognised internationally through the Washington Accord of the International Engineering Alliance.* This course is also accredited by the Project Management Institute Global Accreditation Centre.

*The following streams have Conditional Provisional Accreditation at the level of Professional Engineer and are recognised by the national accreditation body, Engineers Australia, and not through the Accord: the Bachelor of Engineering Honours (Environmental Engineering), Bachelor of Engineering Honours (Mechanical Engineering with Space) and Bachelor of Engineering Honours (Mechatronic Engineering with Space)..

The Australian Computer Society (ACS) has accredited the Bachelor of Engineering Honours (Software Engineering) and Bachelor of Project Management at the full professional level until the end of 2029.

This course is providing me with a broad skillset that will prepare me to work within a large variety of industries including construction, in which I hope to pursue a career.
