Secondary education (History)

Specialisation

A specialisation in history will allow candidates to explore the nature and purpose of history teaching and learning as well as human society and its environment education across years 7-10. You will have an opportunity to pursue a topic of particular historical interest and consider ways in which it may be represented in the history classroom. You will also develop learning strategies and teaching resources for teaching cross curricular perspectives in civics and citizenship, literacy and numeracy and multiculturalism.
