Our Transport Engineering specialisation will provide you with the essential skills to plan, design, operate and manage infrastructure to achieve safe, economical and environmentally-sustainable movement of people and goods. 

This specialisation is designed to cover traditional mathematical and engineering methods, while considering and examining multidisciplinary issues such as environmental and social impact, economics and public policy.

It also delves into the principles of efficient transport network design, transport modelling and system analysis as well as projective planning and the implications of emergent transport technologies and systems.

Graduate opportunities

As a graduate of our Transport Engineering specialisation, you will be able to work in the planning, design, construction, management or operation of road, rail, air or sea infrastructure and systems anywhere in the world.
