Implant Surgery - Prosthodontics - DENT5026

Year - 2018

This unit aims to provide students at the postgraduate level details of clinical decision-making and evidence-based information on implant surgery - prosthodontics. Students should be able to formulate maintenance protocols for implant patients. Complications should be recognised as well as strategies to prevent and treat them. Students will also learn in this unit of study how to deal with medical complications.

1 x 5 day block (8am - 5pm)

Clinical case presentations (summative) (80%); clinical mentor feedback (20%)
