Partial Differential Equations (Intro) - MATH2065

This is an introductory course in the analytical solutions of PDEs (partial differential equations) and boundary value problems. The techniques covered include separation of variables, Fourier series, Fourier transforms and Laplace transforms.

Classes
Three 1 hour lectures, one 1 hour tutorial, one 1 hour example class per week.

Assessment
2 hour exam, mid-semester test, assignments (100%)

(MATH1011 or MATH1001 or MATH1901 or MATH1906) and (MATH1014 or MATH1002 or MATH1902) and (MATH1003 or MATH1903 or MATH1907)
