Group and individual instruction in orchestral conducting technique and methods of score interpretation and rehearsal techniques.

Classes
8-10 hours per week in a combination of class and individual instruction, and 4-6 hours per week with Repertoire Orchestra.

Assessment
Attendance and participation (15%), preparation (30%), development of conducting and musical skills (20%), work with Repertoire Orchestra (20%), end of semester concert (15%).
