Chinese for Business Purposes (B) - CHNS3609

This unit is a continuation of Chinese for Business Purposes (A). It further develops the students' knowledge and communicative skills acquired during the first Semester. New topics introduced will include routine management, e-marketing, advertising, market research and business negotiations.

3 class hours per week: 1 x lecture, 2 x tutorials

Assessment
Participation (10%); In-class test (35%, 1500wds); Writing assignments (20%, 1500wds); Oral group presentation (20%, 1000wds); Vocabulary quizzes (15%, 500wds)

Assumed knowledge
Sound intermediate to advanced knowledge of Modern Standard Chinese; basic grounding in Chinese for business purposes.
