This unit aims to provide students at the postgraduate level details of clinical decision-making and evidence-based information on patient selection for oral implant care. This includes selection of patients for less complex oral implant treatment and recognising very complex cases and the need for multi-disciplinary treatment. The concept of work-up for these cases will be emphasised as well as various treatment modalities in oral implantology.
