Implant Advanced Procedures - DENT5027

This unit aims to provide students at the postgraduate level details of clinical decision-making and evidence-based information on implant advanced procedures. Students will be able to analyse more complex cases including full arch implant supported fixed restorations. There should be an understanding that osseointegration and its stability is multi-factorial and dependent on various biological and microbiological processes.

1 x 3.5 day block (8am - 5pm)

1 x 3hr written examination (50%), viva voce (30mins) (50%).

Recommended resources including texts and publications will be provided in class.
