Clarinet 8 (Extended) - WIND4228

In this unit, students will focus on their artistic and technical preparation for the presentation of a public recital to be assessed by a panel. On completion of this unit, students should be able to perform a public recital with high levels of musical and interpretive awareness, technical facility, an interest and involvement in the art form, and a display of flair, creativity and empathy with other performers.

Classes
1 x 1hr lesson/week, 1 x 2hr performance workshop/week or unit specific classes, 1 x 2hr extended class/week

Assessment
50min Public Recital recital at senior level assessed by panel (50 mins) (780%), Teacher grade (210%), Extended Class Unit assessment (10%). Students must pass all assessed components. 100% attendance required at Performance Workshop, Instrumental Class and masterclasses as appropriate.

Additional information
This unit is only available to Bachelor of Music (Performance) students. CPNO3611/3612/3613 Recital Preparation 1, 2 or 3 must be taken by students who wish to use the Collaborative Piano staff for their public recital.
