At the end of this unit you will have received a broad introduction and gained a variety of tools to apply them within your further mathematical studies and/or in other disciplines.

Classes
Three 1 hour lectures and one 1 hour tutorial per week.

Assessment
Quiz (10%), two assignments (2 x 10%) and a final exam (70%)

Assumed knowledge
Real analysis and vector spaces. For example (MATH2922 or MATH2961) and (MATH2923 or MATH2962)
