East Asian Social Policy - SCPL3605

This unit explores the emergence and the development of welfare systems in East Asia. It interrogates the nature of emerging social risks and the ways in which East Asian countries manage these risks. The unit also evaluates how successful they are and whether there is anything unique about their way of doing social policy.
