OLT Awards for Programs that Enhance Learning

Program Awards recognise learning and teaching support programs and services that make an outstanding contribution to the quality of student learning and the quality of the student experience of higher education. The programs and services that receive Program Awards must have demonstrated their effectiveness through rigorous evaluation and will set benchmarks for similar activities in other institutions.

There are six Program Award categories:

  • Widening participation.
  • Educational partnerships and collaborations with other organisations,
  • Innovation and flexibility in curricula, learning and teaching.
  • Postgraduate education.
  • Student experience and services supporting learning, develpoment and growth in higher education
  • Global citizenship and internationalisation.

Up to 16 Awards with a prize value of $25,000 each will be granted across the eight categories in 2016. The University can submit only one nomination in each category.

  • Prepare your application, noting carefully the criteria and requirements. The internal due date is Tuesday 31 May 2016.

Step 5

  • The applications selected by the University will receive additional support in fine-tuning their application prior to submission to the OLT. Submissions selected for nomination are due for resubmission by 30 June 2016.

Step 6

  • Nominations must be submitted by the University and are due at the OLT on Thursday 7 July 2016.
