M06 - Supporting student cohorts and teaching teams

The dual aims of this module are to develop your abilities to (i) support student cohorts (including larger cohorts, and those in transition to university study) and (ii) tutors, sessional staff, and other staff working with you.  We will cover a range of tools and resources that can help with understanding and supporting your cohort of learners, and plan achievable changes that can be made to improve their learning experience. We will also discuss key principles for supporting and managing staff, and consider how we can better communicate with and grow our teams. This module is useful for any unit coordinator, and particularly first year coordinators.
