Connecting alumni and staff in information technologies

Meet and connect with alumni and staff from the School of Computer Science through the University of Sydney IT Alumni Association (USITAA).

The University of Sydney IT Alumni Association (USITAA) was formed in 2008 to develop relationships between graduates and the School of Computer Science (previously the School of Information Technologies, and the Basser Department of Computer Science).

Today USITAA hosts and takes part in a range of activities including:

  • outreach activities
  • the University of Sydney Open Day
  • graduation dinners
  • end-of-year function
  • networking events.

USITAA is associated with the Sydney University IT Society (SUITS).

All graduates and current or former staff of the School of Computer Science at the University of Sydney are members of USITAA.

Members may also include:

  • alumni who satisfactorily completed studies with the School of Computer Science (previously the School of Information Technologies, and the Basser Department of Computer Science). Studies may include any of the following:
    • an undergraduate degree
    • a postgraduate degree or diploma
    • an honours degree
    • a senior course (300 or 3000 level unit of study).
