The Health Honours program is a one-year component available via an appended or an embedded or an integrated Honours, depending on the degree a student is enrolled in. The program includes two 6-credit point selective coursework units and 36-credit points of research project units.
The Health Honours program offers projects in a number of areas including the social determinants of health, disability, health policy, ethics, health promotion, eHealth/digital health, ageing, women’s health, Indigenous health, climate health, and health services.
Honours is available to students who have met the requirements outlined in the resolutions. To be eligible, students require completion of two majors, of which at least one major is cognate to the Honours area for which entry is sought. Please contact the Sydney School of Health Sciences for further information on the eligibility criteria. Admittance into the program is determined by the Faculty of Science as well as the Honours coordinator.
