Leadership development for project success
Major Projects Leadership Academy offers programs specific to the public sector for integrated transport and social infrastructure teams.

Our programs are examples of leadership development programs for different public sector audiences involved in infrastructure projects.

All are intended to be tailored to the specific context of organisations following a discovery stage with the organisation to align learning needs. Duration and prices are indicative and will vary based on the ambition level and the constraints of organisations.

Our design principles

Impact - delivering tangible impact during the learning journey. Participants work on real organisational challenges that have no easy answers (wicked/ adaptive challenges) that are part of their current workload

Team building - reaching beyond individual participants to involve direct managers, lift team effectiveness and create cultures of leadership

Time constraints - we recognise the high pressure environment of projects, with highly restricted capacity of people to break from work for more than 1-2 days at a time

Changing behaviours - we extend development process over a minimum of five months for sustainable change in leadership practices. Go beyond learning of new knowledge and technical skills towards sustainable changes in leadership practice and transformational learning (cognitive capacity)

Dynamic learning - offered through series of short interventions no more than 3-4 weeks apart, including workshop, (peer) coaching, mentoring, reading material, facilitated conversation etc.. Peer sharing of experiences, personal reflection and experimentation creates a safe learning environment.
