Winter 2019 Session - Enrolment and Registration Information

The enrolment period for the Winter 2019 Session is: Monday 15 April to Friday 26 April 2019.

1. Enrol with the LPAB

Enrolment with the LPAB is done through an online portal on the LPAB website - LPAB online enrolment portal .
ALL Students - You will need to fill in your personal details, your LPAB student number,1 select your subjects,2 and make payment.

2. Register with the LEC

Registration with the LEC is done through an online portal on the LEC website - LEC online registration portal .
ALL Students - You will need to enter your Surname (this is case sensitive so Wang, not wang or WANG, LPAB Student Number and date of birth and fill out the online form.

3. Log in to Canvas

After registering with the LEC, please allow 1 business day for your information to be recognised by Canvas. You can log in to Canvas here - Login to Canvas portal , or through the link on the LEC homepage.
NEW Students will need to set up a password by clicking on "Request a Password". Your log in is your LPAB STUDENT NUMBER.
EXISTING Students will log in using their existing password.

4. Get your UniKey

UniKey registration opens on Monday 29 April 2019.
NEW Students will need to create a UniKey via the UniKey self-registration portal . Note you will only be able to create a UniKey if you have registered with the LEC.
EXISTING Students will use their existing details.

5. Get your student/library card

NEW Students will need to have registered with the LEC and emailed a photo to be displayed on the card to be issued with a card.
Please email a photo of yourself to LEC Enquiries: enquiries@lec.pip.com.au. See guidelines for photo requirements (PDF).
If students have successfully registered and provided a photo by the end of the registration period, they will be able to pick up their library card at Orientation (3 May).

6. New Students

NEW Students are required to attend the LEC Orientation Day on Friday 3 May 2019. The Orientation Day Program runs from 10.00 to 4.30pm. Program (PDF).

7. Legal Institutions Students

Legal Institutions students are required to attend the Legal Institutions Essential Introductory Classes being held on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 May 2019. The classes run from 9.00am to 5.00pm on both days. Program (PDF).

1 Note to new students: your student number is on the letter from the LPAB confirming your acceptance as a Student-At-Law.
2 The first 11 subjects must be taken in order, unless you have special permission to take subjects out of order. If you are a new student starting the Diploma in Law, the first subject is 01 Legal Institutions and the second subject (if you are taking two) is 02 Criminal Law and Procedure.
