The University of Sydney and the City of Sydney are teaming up again in 2024 to deliver Raising the Bar Sydney. Held for one night across 10 different inner city bars, audiences can experience 20 free talks from the University of Sydney’s innovative thinkers and the city’s entrepreneurs.
The first University-wide wellbeing break will take place from 2-5 April. The University will remain open, and services will continue to be delivered, but we will collectively commit to reducing activity to enable focused work or annual leave. Staff News will not be sent during the break, but any important updates will be published on the intranet as normal.

New Support for Students resources are available to help Unit of Study Coordinators manage one-on-one academic consultations with 1000-level students at risk of not completing a unit of study before census, including video guides, drop-in sessions and an updated Student Appointment Guide.
