The Orthodontics series is structured as three coordinated courses. An increasing number of dentists are incorporating orthodontics into their clinical practice and require a deeper understanding of treating patients appropriately and within the scope of practice for general practitioners.
This course offers the Oral Health Therapist (OHT) or dual trained dental hygienist/dental therapist the opportunity to broaden their professional skill set to include restorative treatment planning and procedures for adult patients. The course has been revised to meet the needs of the working clinician and consists of face-to-face didactic lectures, online learning and simulation practice with supervision of dentists.
