Continuing professional development (CPD) helps health professionals to maintain, improve and broaden their knowledge, expertise and competence.
Under the National Law, which governs the operations of the National Boards and AHPRA, all registered health practitioners must undertake CPD.
The CPD requirements of each national board are detailed in the registration standards for each profession, published on each board website. These detail the number of credits/points/hours practitioners must spend each year on learning activities.
Some health professions also provide additional guidelines in their codes and guidelines.
Our courses are recognised as compliant with the Dental Board of Australia's definition of clinical or scientific CPD activities. It should be noted that our dental CPD courses are not higher education or degree courses as defined by the Australian Qualifications Framework.
A certificate of attendance is provided at the conclusion of each course. For the most recent updates regarding your requirements for national registration, please visit Dental Board of Australia.
