CCWM Conversations: Kerameikos Artists

In conversation between the artists and curator behind Kerameikos
Saturday 24 August: celebrate the opening of Kerameikos with a panel discussion featuring the artists behind the exhibition.

Join us as we celebrate the opening of Kerameikos, featuring newly commissioned works from leading contemporary artists: Idil Abdullahi, Glenn Barkley, Kirsten Coelho, Janet Fieldhouse, Juz Kitson, Monica Rani Rudhar and Vipoo Srivilasa.

Responding to the Museum’s collections, our invited artists provide a fresh perspective on one of Australia's oldest museum collections. Join us as they share the stories behind their innovative creations and the intricate processes of their ceramic practice.

Our contemporary potters’ quarter is an ongoing dialogue between the past and present, and a celebration of ceramics as an enduring artistic medium.

This event is moderated by exhibition curator Candace Richards.

This is a free event, but registrations are required.
